Whoo. This is an epic, funkadelic adventure which brings a new meaning to the word... uh... well, several words actually. Too many to name. Featuring Japan's hottest rap-funk and a full translation, Earth vs Funk is destined to go down in the history of film making, and by film making I mean bizarre, frightening acid trips. By the way, I realize the movie is slightly biased towards funk, but let me assure you that it is not propaganda! Carry on.

I want to use the orchestral remix of Funkastic that was on the coollist a while back to create Earth Vs. Funk: The Opera! Starring Robert Goulet!

Strangely enough, the three background dancers when "Gonna con Sam Sally" looks sorta like me. Creeeeepy. Just as bizarre and hilarious as Ciercega's other works like Hyakugojyuuichii.

While it still uses Colin and Lesko, it introduces A LOT of new characters. And some AWESOME mondegreens.

I think the mondegreens are sort of forced.

Weird. I think they actually fit quite well, and unlike a lot of animutations, I have a much harder time not hearing the fake lyrics.
On the other hand, I think the fake lyrics for Hyakugojyuuichi are a bit forced, but I guess that's just because the song in Hyakugojyuuichi is very clear, and thus it is very easy to hear the sounds and syllables of if you understand Japanese word structure and common sounds.

This movie is what got me into animutations in the first place. My friend's sister e-mailed it to him at school and I happened to be walking past when he watched it... for the first few days our opinion was basically 'that was a huge waste of time.'
... and then about 15 months later, I was sitting around for 6 hours a night making Bling Bling.

The music is perfect, alongside with the absolutely trippy animation and the flawless hilarity. It is an audiovisual thrillride, if you ask me. It also got me into animutation.

The mondegreens were forced sometimes, but the animation is so good and the song so catchy that I'll let it slip. 10.
