This one always had a special place in my heart and on my hard drive, because it was the first one I ever saw. I think it's still my favorite.
Yeah. Definitely still my favorite.

Irrational exuberance, by verylowsodium, holds a special place in the hearts, minds, and buttocks(like michael jackson would) of animutaton viewers everywhere. Like the declaration of independence, the truths we held self evident in the briefly appearing text segments are as true now as they were way back then: Like moths to a flame, a dozen copycats immediately ripped off the idea, starting a freaky movement. or something like that. Irrational exuberance also proved early on that having foreign music is merely a suggeston, not a rule. The song is sung in "engrish", probably on purpose for comedic effect. While Irrational exuberance is as relevant and funny today as it was when it was made, A close look at the technques used show that it is also a sign of the times. It shares the concept of a series of still frames and photoshopped images with its contemporary "all your base are belong to us". Whereas all your base used various phrases from the badly subtitled video game in every still image in the movie, irrational exuberance used yatta! over and over again in various product advertizements. This movie also marks one of the earlier appearances of colin mochrie, and the animutation trademark jaw cutout. all in all, this movie is a necesary part of every animutation website's collection. and everybody say: YATTA

I've seen this quite a few times. It's just as good as when I first saw it. It's only the second animutation to use Engrish (the first is "We Drink Ritalin"). If you thought this was strange, you should watch the actual "Yatta!" video. One of eight animutations mentioned on Wikipedia. What surprised me was how this could slip through without a Somewhat NSFW rating.

Everybody say... YATTA! One of the well known fanimutations, featuring a bunch of Yattaified objects, singing fruits, and more.

I remember when my parents went to the Netherlands in October 2004, and my sister went to stay at a friend's house. For the first time in years my parents gave me the password to the computer, and since no one else was in the house I could turn the sound as high as I wanted. Of course, I was anxious to watch flash videos and I soon discovered the animutations section of Albinoblacksheep. This was one of the first animutations I ever saw, and even today watching it reminds me of those two weeks I had the house all to myself.

Have you guys seen the original Japanese music video of Yatta? It is seriously weird, a bunch of half-naked dudes dancing around with leaves covering their groins. This song was such a massive hit in Japan, and if you read the english translated lyrics and watch the original video you'll find that it reflects conformist Japan in a strangely humourous fashion.

Oh, although it is rather perverted, the 'who dong hide' part had me in a laughing fit which lasted so long that my chest started hurting.

I'd love to know how Veloso put the word 'Yatta' into the product names while still making it look authentic.

...of all time (and that's no exaggeration!) This is one of my personal faves; I've watched it over and over and never get tired of it! One of of my favorite parts is the 'Yattaburger' image! Not only was it flawless, but Whataburger is (I think) the only product in the whole 'mutation that was regional (as opposed to national or international). Whataburger is based in the Southeast U.S. just like White Castle as based in the Northeast. People in New York have no idea what a Whataburger is any more than people in Dallas would know what a Slyder is. I live in Tyler (100 miles east of Dallas) and have eaten Whataburger my whole life. Their flagship store (and corporate headquarters) are located in Corpus Christi. :D

Ya, I don't like it as much as most animutation fans. Nicely animated, and Cicieregan, okay, good fake lyrics. But I wouldn't reference this one. I don't think it's one of the absolute best. It's still enjoyable. Yeah, I know this is a first for this submission. It does have a nice something to it, though.

I'm not a hater, just so you know, I like Dash and Going Now a lot.

This song is catchy and funny, but I don't really like it as an animutation.
