KKyuubi: My friend VXO reversed "Katamari On The Rock" and converted the results to MP3, and it has a lot of mondegreen potential. I noticed references to Cid (Final Fantasy), Snarf (Thundercats), and even Misteroo. And the "na naaaaa, na na na na na, na, na, na Katamari Damacy" turned into "na naaa naaa naaa nana nana naaaa, shiny and amusing." This has become somewhat of an inside joke between VXO and I.

Timmy-The-Wing: Do you still have your Dandelion mondegreens? I'd really like to read them! It's always fun to read others' opinions of mondegreens in a song you animutated, and certainly there are many ways to misinterpret Rip Slyme!

Davidizer13: Speaking of French music, a long time ago, I heard a French R&B/hip-hop/rap song on FIU's college radio station, but had no idea what it was. It sounded very much like Lauryn Hill with the Fugees, but it was sung in French. The word "musique" (music) was mentioned often, especially in the chorus. I heard countless mondegreens in the song, but currently I can only remember one: "C'est Batman!"

I might wanna think about that, but right now I'm pulling a 3.14 and doing one to an english song! It's not going to have any mondegreens, but it is fast and insane (even faster than Shining Collection of all songs)

Fury of the Storm - Dragonforce

I'm already beginning it, but I just thought our slideshow master would like to know this

I'll most likely be using this song (Youtube music video* link.)

*The music video was banned in the UK for giving children epilepsy, so I can use getting epilepsy / epileptic flashing things as an overall theme!

Good mondegreens. And I never watch Lazy Town; but I'll look for what you're talking about.

This just in: Pandatronic, you're absolutely right. And Stephanie's voice is drop-dead fantastic! Does anybody know the actress's name so I can look her up on IMDB?

EDIT: Never mind, I found her. Her name is Julianne Rose Mauriello. And she's YOUNGER than I am!

EDIT #2: Magicaldoremi.net's downloads work again! They've got plenty of good Ojamajo Doremi songs, including "Ice Cream Child" (highly recommended) and "Half Point" (recommended, but not as highly as the previous). But, they don't have a complete collection. I really want "Hop Step Pop" and "Cherry Bomb!" (in mp3 format) but don't know where to look. Galbadia Hotel has nothing; I already looked at least twice.

I know this is like, extremely off topic, but does anyone know where I can find an MP3 for the song in Chocolate Niblet Beans?

For a while now, I've been convinced as to the animutation potential of these songs, but my horrible skill at detecting mondegreens has kept me from verifying it (I have ADD; it can be rather tough for me to focus on several things at once). They are the 4th and 5th openings for Bleach, respectively. They both have a few weird little idiosyncracies(sp?), but the first seems particularly useable, since it's entirely in garbled Engrish.

Tonight, Tonight, Tonight by Beat Crusaders

Rolling star by YUI

What do you guys think? Do they sound like they have potential?

Apologies for the lack of download links; I couldn't find any, since both songs are relatively new. Not even Galbadia Hotel had them. ^^;;

I downloaded a big chunk of old Sailor Moon songs from Galbadia Hotel the other day, and I noticed Tuxedo Mask's singing voice makes him sound like a drunk Muppet. Listen for yourself.

On another note, I recommend this song and this song for y'all's usage. I might do something with either version of "Moonlight Densetsu" in the works, so keep your eyes peeled.

I LOVE U - The Scanty
I also recommend this. I originally found it on a site that is now long gone.

Paradise Princess (from Fushigiboshi no Futagohime)
Here. It's animutatable, but I don't think I can do anything with it.

Patatarun - same anime
I originally got this song via an email request from the owner of another now-defunct site.

The intro song from Neo Contra. (no MP3, have to make do with YouTube)

I didn't even know this song was in english until somebody posted lyrics for it, the main singer's wailing is so incomprehensible and drawn out. In just one listen I heard lyrics about Samsung being overlord and Callahan's dance-off with the midget nation.

PS-Here's a more concise version of the song.

That Neo Contra song is pretty funny! I caught the Samsung line, as well as "My fist of fleas" near the end. xDD The accompanying video was actually rather humourous, too. It all looked like something out of a bad action movie, especially the part where the guy cuts the flying plane in half with his katana. XD

As for more music, I managed to cobble this collection together:

Thank You!! by Home Made Kazoku, the 2nd ending to Bleach. Another shining example of Japan's unique brand of "rap". On a side note, the way they pronounce "forever" makes them sound like Coiffio from Perfect Hair Forever. xDD

Asterisk by Orange Range, the first Bleach opening. This song was done by the same band that did the song from Ameligan, which may be an indicator as to its animutateability. ~_^

Tip, Taps, Tip by HALCALI. Interesting fun fact: this group was sorta created by Rip Slyme. They held a contest for potential musicians, and 2 girls named Haruka and Yukari answered the call, thus creating HALCALI.

Melissa, courtesy of Porno Graffiti. These guys made Music Hour, so you have an idea of what to expect. This song was also the 1st opening of Fullmetal Alchemist.

Ride on Shooting Star by the pillows. This one is already semi-famous, and I imagine someone could make a pretty good animutation with it. ^^

I need a short 30-50 second song ASAP, the Clock Crew is celebrating "Bill Murray Week" and they are having a competition where you have to make a movie starring Bill Murray.

When I thought about it, I instantly thought Animutation (they said it didn't have to be Clock related).

Well KK, I'm rather offended you didnt PM me looking for a short song... but I'll get over it... done...

I got 2 english suggestions...

My Pants Keep Falling Down - Frenzal Rhomb (one of my ex girlfriends in england loved that song... *sigh* I missed her... She's in porn now...)

Quit Yer Job - Chixdiggit (A great Canadian band)

And a 3rd... its English... but "distinguishable" english by a band that speaks German...

The Count - Wizo

these 3 songs are all roughly 30 seconds.

[Soapbox]
Limewire and 360share pro are exelent programs to use as long as you are NOT using them to download illigally... If you are however in Canada... I should remind you... downloading music off a peer to peer program is completely legal because we pay tarifs on our blank CD's and soon MP3 players so our country doesnt waste time aresting 18 year olds for downloading music while crack heads are killing family men for their next hit...
I work in the music industry, I know the laws... If you are Canadian, dont feel guilty if you download music, it is still legal in the Great White North.

Maybe I'll just use this short metal song I found on the NG audio portal...that I mixed Bill Murray quotes into.
